About the Writer

Prior to this he worked at National Instruments growing LabVIEW, in Applied Research Labs (Univ. of Texas in Austin) growing sonar systems for the U.S. Navy, also in a number of telecommunications firms. He’s a seasoned presenter and instructor, having spoken at many conventions, applications classes, and internal company places. Austin is also an active part of the open source community, contributing frequently to different Python and Emacs endeavors, and he is the creator of Stavanger Software Developers, among the greatest and most active social applications groups in Stavanger.
